I am a psychologist, Gestalt therapist, and educator specialising in trauma, EMDR, and parenting. I work from the perspectives of Humanistic and Systems Psychology.
I am also a couples therapist. I provide support with expatriation and other immigration processes. I can assist you in Spanish or English.
I’m passionate about the world of emotions. I am interested in understanding what causes each person to suffer and, from there, supporting them so they can live calmly, regardless of what’s happening around them. After more than fifteen years of working with children and families as a teacher and educator, I realised that my place in the world is to offer a safe space where, when someone needs it, they can understand what’s happening to them and learn to use their own tools in every life situation. Furthermore, having experienced moments of unrest, sadness, and anxiety on this exciting path of personal growth has allowed me to bring my own journey of self-knowledge to the service of my clients.
All of this makes me feel deeply motivated to accompany you in your own life process.
We often normalise living without fulfilment and become accustomed to an unpleasant, autopilot existence. This happens when we accept anxiety, deep sadness, irritability toward others, or treating our family members with disdain as “normal.” These are behaviours we often observe in therapy—and they can be overcome or redirected. It is possible to live peacefully, to feel enthusiasm for life, to care for ourselves, and to nurture the relationships that truly matter. When we begin to know ourselves and understand how our emotional world works, life changes. A sense of vitality returns, reconnecting us with ourselves and our immediate surroundings. We learn to take the reins of our lives and choose to be present in each moment. This is what therapy is for—and without a doubt, the journey is worthwhile.
